WINeFare 2024 Program

WINeFare is upon us again! This year, we are proud to host 77 women-run natural wineries and importers from five countries and five states, showcasing a wide variety of wines. The event’s growth since its inception in 2018 is a testament to its importance.

That said, WINeFare does not get as much attention as natural wine events run by men, mainly featuring male winemakers. While more women are making wine, working as buyers, and starting wine companies, #MeToo seems to have had a fleeting effect on the wine industry. This is a big reason why WINeFare, despite the challenges, needs to loudly roar on.

Despite flying under the radar, WINeFare has come to mean a lot to the women who pour. The collegiality provides community, especially to those who are newer to the field. Over the years, many winemakers, importers, and attendees have told me it’s their favorite tasting because the atmosphere is so unique. I know they appreciate everyone who attends as much as we do; your support helps keep it going.

Enjoy the tasting! Support women!
