Terah Wine Co, @terahwinecompany

A native Californian, Terah refined her unique style and found her love of wine by way of food and from her travels across the globe. She started her professional career in the hospitality industry and studied at the International Culinary Institute in Campbell California, where she completed the level II sommelier certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers.

She immersed herself in many aspects of the industry early on in her career. She spent time in hospitality, working in wine bars; a Michelin-starred restaurant, wine education, and consulted with various sommeliers in the Bay Area. Terah ambitiously immersed herself into the international world of wine, studying in both Spain and France and working 13 harvests covering five countries. Her flying winemaking experience includes the regions of Meursault (France), Barossa Valley (Australia), Marlborough (New Zealand), Mendoza (Argentina), Sonoma (U.S.), Napa Valley (U.S), and The Willamette Valley (U.S).

Terah holds a BS in finance from San Jose State University and a master's degree in enology and viticulture from France’s prestigious Montpellier SupAgro. Most recently, she completed the WSET level three certification with merit.

Her wine is truly inspired by her travels and learning in cellars across the globe, and stylistically she leans toward classic European world wines. She is dedicated to producing terroir-driven wines. She loves exploring new regions and collaborating with wine professionals on all aspects of the wine industry.

In 2020, she started her personal wine label and consulting company called Terah Wine Co. through which she continues to pursue winemaking and other opportunities in the U.S. and abroad. She currently is the head winemaker for Dorcich Family Vineyards.

Social Justice and Environmental Restoration Statement

We at SRS understand that the future of the wine world is being created today by daily actions and the ways in which resources are moved. To that end, we are highly focused on changing visibility and inclusion on every level within our company and community, from vineyard workers to winemakers to sales reps, restaurant workers, retailers, and consumers. We work to ensure that our money supports fair labor practices and promotes equity at large. As a team, we ask ourselves hard questions (sometimes leading to yucky conversations), stay current and hold each other accountable while also striving to create a very safe working environment in which we can each be our whole selves. As a company, we have donated to various organizations both within and outside of the wine world whose causes we support. These values have been made actionable since day one of SRS and are core to who we are.
