Ully is a Brazilian born, California raised natural winemaker who started Vai e Vem in 2021 as her passion project. Vai e Vem is a culmination of Ully’s excitement for wine in its genuine and most experimental form. Every year Vai e Vem explores different varieties around a central theme. Working with organic vineyards from Lodi, 2022’s varieties were Picpoul and Petite Verdot in still and sparkling form. 

Social Justice and Environmental Preservation Statement

Vai e Vem is founded, funded, and made by Ully, a Brazilian transplant to California. She cares deeply about supporting her fellow women and Latinx industry members through representation and community building within the Bay Area natural wine sphere.
Vai e Vem may be a one-woman show but it wouldn’t be possible without the help of Ully's friends, family, and coworkers - a group of people she feels lucky to have as a part of the 2021 vintage.
